When attempting to make a long distance or international call you may notice the call does not go through right away. To enable these calls you will need to enter your authorization code into the phone.

 

Making long distance calls:

  1. Dial 9 followed by the phone number you are trying to reach. Ex. 9-412-833-1600
  2. After dialing this number you will hear three beeps in rapid succession, this is your indicator to enter your 7-digit authorization code. Your 7-digit authorization code is the same 7-digits used to sign into your computer and phone.
  3. After entering your authorization code the call will be put through

 

Making international calls:

  1. Dial 9 followed by the country code plus phone number you are trying to reach. Ex. 9-+1-412-833-1600
  2. After dialing this number you will hear three beeps in rapid succession, this is your indicator to enter your 7-digit authorization code. Your 7-digit authorization code is the same 7-digits used to sign into your computer and phone.
