Every year, 8th-grade and high school students complete an online course registration process. This process involves reviewing course recommendations from teachers and selecting courses for the upcoming school year at the high school. Please follow the steps below to review course recommendations from your teachers and make any necessary course requests:
1. Log in to the Focus Student Portal. Make sure to click the button labeled Sign in with SSO. Typing your username and password directly on the login page will result in a login error.
2. Use the dropdown menu in the top right corner to change the school year from the current school year, 2023-2024, to the next school year, 2024-2025.
3. The colors will turn red as a reminder that you are currently not in the active school year. In the left navigation pane, click Class Requests.
4. The Class Requests screen will list all courses that were recommended by your classroom teachers. Until course registration opens, you will only be able to review these recommendations.
