Setting up voicemail from a desk phone

Most users in Avaya Cloud Office will be assigned a voice mailbox. Follow the directions below to set up your voicemail for the first time from a desk phone.


CHANGE YOUR VOICEMAIL PIN

 

1. Connect to the voicemail service by pressing the ✉️ button on your phone or dial *86

2. You will be prompted to enter your PIN. If you have never used the voicemail system, enter PIN 177523 to begin the setup process.

3. Upon login, you must change your PIN from the default. To do so, press option 2 to access account administration, then option 3 to change your PIN. Enter the current PIN of 177523, followed by the # key. You will then be prompted to choose a new PIN between 6-10 digits in length. Enter your new PIN, followed by the # key.

4. If the PIN entered is correct, choose option 1 to save the new PIN number. If you need to re-enter the PIN because it is incorrect, choose option 2.

5. After changing your voicemail PIN, you will be returned to the main menu.

 

CREATE YOUR VOICEMAIL GREETING

 

1. From the main menu, choose option 2 to access account administration.

2. To record greetings, press option 2 again.

3. Avaya Cloud Office offers several different types of greetings. The only greeting enabled by default is the voicemail greeting. To record your voicemail greeting, choose option 2.

4. You can now listen to the current greeting or record a new one. To record a new greeting, press option 3.

5. Record your greeting and press the # key when finished.

6. After recording, you can save the new recording by pressing option 1, or listen to what was just recorded first by pressing option 2.
