The Upper St. Clair School District, including the Technology Department, will be closed for Winter Break starting on December 23, 2024, at 12 PM.

Responses to support tickets will be delayed until the District reopens on January 5, 2026.

New issues submitted during Winter Break will be addressed as soon as possible upon our return to work.

How to Resize the Chromebox OnScreen Keyboard

When typing on your Chromebox, you can make the on-screen keyboard smaller to make it easier to type.

 

Tap in any text box to show the on-screen keyboard.

 



 

Tap the Float button on the top right corner of the on-screen keyboard. 

 



 

Your on-screen keyboard will resize to a smaller version.  

 

 

 

Select the Direction pad on the bottom right corner of the on-screen keyboard to move it around the screen.  

 

When you select the Direction pad  a blue outline will appear.  

 

To resize the on-screen keyboard, hold and drag any corner.

 

 

To return the keyboard to the original size and "dock" it, select Dock in the top right corner of the on-screen keyboard.
