The Document Management module in Focus allows users the ability to view a student's files, letters, messages, report cards, and unofficial transcripts in one location within the student record.  Below are the steps for viewing the Uploaded Files screen for a particular student.

1. In the Students Menu, go to Uploaded Files.

2. The Student Search screen will appear. Enter the appropriate criteria and click Search.

3.  Click on the Files tab at the top of the Student Info screen.

4.  Documents, such as proof of age or residence, will be displayed in the left hand column beneath the Uploaded Documents header.  Any letters or other communication that has been sent will appear in the right hand column under the title Letter Log. Click on the blue View button to the right of the document or letter that you would like to see.  Any material that is not in PDF or PNG format will not appear in the student's Files tab.

5.  Recently uploaded files may not be immediately available for viewing in the Files tab.  A scheduled job is run nightly through Document Management to transfer any pending files. Certain users may be granted access to process files manually.  Please contact the USC Help Desk with any processing questions.
