The Upper St. Clair School District, including the Technology Department, will be closed for Winter Break starting on December 23, 2024, at 12 PM.

Responses to support tickets will be delayed until the District reopens on January 5, 2026.

How to Update Google Chrome

Chrome will check and install updates without any interaction from you, but if you want to make sure you are on the latest version, follow the steps below:

 

1.  Click on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner

 

 

2.  Click on "Help", and then "About Google Chrome"

 

 

3.  You will see ONE of the messages below.  

 

Chrome is up to date (no action is required):

 

Chrome is in process of downloading/updating (it may ask you to relaunch Chrome when finished):

 

 

Chrome may have already updated on its own (you will need to click on "Relaunch"):

 

 

Chrome is checking for updates , then it will download/update (it may ask you to relaunch Chrome when finished)
