These instructions explain how to print to district printers using your Chromebook.

Important: Make sure your Chromebook is connected to a district WiFi network.

  1. Install the Mobility Print Chrome app. This app is installed automatically on all district-issued Chromebooks.

  2. Open the page to print.

  3. If printing is available, right-click; then select Print. You can also hit Ctrl and the letter P together on your keyboard.

  4. Next to Destination, click on the dropdown box, then click See more...

  5. Select a printer from the list. Make sure you select a Mobility Print printer as identified by the small green PaperCut icon. For High School students, we recommend selecting HS-XE-Library for printing in grayscale and HS-XE-LibraryColor for printing in color.

  6. When prompted, enter your district-issued username and password, or click the Sign In with Google button.
IMPORTANT: Only enter your username (Students - your last name and first initial). Please omit the domain name at the end (e.g., @uscsd.k12.pa.us, @uscstudents.org, @uscrobotics.org, or @usctoday.org).

  7. As soon as you sign in, your print job will be submitted to the printer that you chose in step 5. If your print job does not immediately print, please be patient as others' print jobs may be ahead of yours. Please do not submit the same print job repeatedly.

If you select the Remember me checkbox, your device will remember your login details for that printer for one week.
