Some online learning tools, such as Canvas, use content providers to deliver images and videos to courses.  However, content and privacy settings in the Apple Safari browser include features which sometimes treat learning tools as "third-party" content which could prevent images and other files from loading properly in your Canvas course. You may need to change these settings in order to use Safari to access these tools

Changing settings for a mobile device running iOS (iPad or iPhone )

1.  Tap the "Settings" app on your device.

2.  In the left-side navigation menu tap "Safari".  In the "Privacy & Security" settings on the right-side of the screen, disable "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" and "Block All Cookies".

Changing settings for a computer running macOS (Desktop or Laptop)

1.  Launch the Safari browser.  Click the Safari menu in the upper left corner of the screen and select "Preferences".

2.  Click the "Privacy" tab in the top menu.  Make sure you remove the checkbox for "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" to turn these features off.
