If you have asked for your student password to be reset, you can follow the instructions below to change your password.

Please not that when you change your SSO password, it will change for all SSO-enabled accounts including email, Canvas, etc.

You should have received a new temporary password from the Technology Department.  If you haven't please submit a help desk ticket.

The Chromebook needs to be connected to any wifi network for this process to complete.

If you are logged into your Chromebook, log out by going to the system tray in the bottom right corner and selecting "Sign Out"

Once you have logged out, you will be prompted with the normal login window.  Enter your full uscstudents.org email address and select "Next"

When prompted for your password, enter the new temporary password that was provided to you from the Technology Department, then select "Sign in"

On the next screen, in the "Current Password" line, you will enter new new temporary password that was provided to you from the Technology Department.  On the "New Password" line, enter the new compliant password that you are creating.  If you password does not comply with our requirements, you will be asked to create a new password.  Re-enter your new password that you just created on the line that says "Confirm Password" and select "Sign in".

You will then be prompted to "Confirm your new password" where you will enter the new password you created and select the "Next" button.  Your Chromebook will continue to log in until you are at your desktop.

After this process is successful, you will then log into your Chromebook or any SSO-enabled account using your new password.
