Using Call Park

Call Park is a feature that allows members to place a call on hold so that another member can pick up that call without going through the transfer process. Call Pickup groups are set up by the Technology Department.

 

To utilize the park feature of the Avaya Cloud Office phone system, you must first be assigned to a Park Group. A button for each call park group will be displayed on your desk phone home screen. If using the Avaya Cloud Office desktop or mobile applications, these will appear as available parking destinations when on an active call.

 

How to park a phone call from a desk phone

  • While on an active call, press the call park group button on the phone screen.

  • The caller will immediately be placed on hold, and you will see the call as parked on your phone screen.

 

How to pick up a parked phone call from a desk phone

  • All park group members will see the parked phone call on their screens.

  • To pick up the call, press the blinking park group indicator.

 

How to park a phone call on the Avaya Cloud Office desktop or mobile application

  • While on an active call, press the More button on the keypad and choose Park.

  • If you are a member of multiple park groups, you must choose the group you wish to park the call in.

  • The caller will immediately be placed on hold, and you will see the call as parked on your screen.

 

How to pick up a parked call on the Avaya Cloud Office desktop or mobile application

  • Locate the list of available Call Park groups

  • Press the pickup symbol next to the group you wish to answer.
