This article will explain how to access and submit a Kami assignment in Canvas.

Please note that not all assignments will be PDF documents that open directly in Kami.  You may need to download the PDF document and open it in Kami, then download the completed document and upload it to Canvas to submit your assignment.  Please see this help desk article for instructions on how to do that.

Log into Canvas and navigate to your assignment.

Click on the Kami assignment title, and a new window will open, displaying the Kami interface.

Use the tools provided by Kami to interact with the document. Some common tools include:

  • Text Tool: Click to add text to the document.
  • Pen Tool: Use to draw or write by hand.
  • Highlight Tool: Use to highlight text or important sections.
  • Comment Tool: Click on a section to leave comments.

You can read more about these tools in this knowledge base article or at the Kami Help Center.

Once you have completed the Kami assignment and are ready to submit it, locate the "Submit" button in the upper right in Kami menu bar.

Click on the "Submit" button to submit your work.

You can review your submitted assignment by navigating back to the original posting in Canvas.
